Abstract

The article reveals the linguodidactic potential of the text of A. I. Kuprin’s story “The Wonderful Doctor” when teaching Russian as a foreign language and substantiates the expediency of reading a literary text as one of the effective means of developing communicative competence, creative thinking, information and analytical skills of students, as well as value orientations and behavioral stereotypes of a future medical student.
